Yesterday

How I wish you were alive today

Suddenly
We were singing in a minor key

I agree, The only problem (which is not really a problem) is that it is mostly Paul's song.

I can, however, hear Sir Paul singing it.

Yes, I just read an excellent Wikipedia article explaining in detail how Paul wrote it, although it is credited to Lennon/McCartney.
